Fast sailing - the video

We yachties are strange animals indeed - during our time off from cleaning, fixing and sailing boats, we clean, fix and sail other boats. Last week-end was spent in Nanny Cay, Tortola, helping our friends Nils and Meredith put Soma, their Formula 40, back together. In case you have never heard of a Formula 40 before, just take a look at the video linked below and you will understand why we were keen on spending a few days sweating in the yard. Nous autres voileux sommes bien etranges en verite : nous passons notre temps de travail a nettoyer, reparer et naviguer sur des voiliers, et notre temps libre a nettoyer, reparer et naviguer sur d'autres voiliers. Nous avons passe le week-end dernier a Nanny Cay, dans les Iles Vierges, pour aider nos amis Nils et Mererdith a mettre a l'eau Soma, leur catamaran Formula 40. Si vous ne savez pas ce qu'est un Formula 40, jetez un oeil sur la video ci-dessus et vous comprendrez pourquoi nous etions motives a transpirer pendant quelques jours au chantier !
